Phishing
Phishing is the act of “stealing” usernames, passwords and credit card details using the internet or any prohibited software. Professional hackers who are capacitated to invade websites, send people fake emails in the name of famous banks and/or online payment processors telling them to go to some website and type their username password to access their accounts, and in most of the time they are so good that they can even imitate the bank’s website to make sure that the people will “trust” them.
Sometimes Phishing happens because the bank’s online security is not good enough, so these capacitated people invade those websites and capture everyone’s passwords.
To avoid this clandestine action, you have to make sure that the email that you receive from your bank is a real email without any dangerous stuff in it. It is a really hard mission to realize, but try not to trust every announcement especially on internet.
